Leonard B. Poulin founded LBP Enterprises, Inc. in 1991 following a thirteen year career in the computer manufacturing industry at Applicon/Schlumberger,
Centronics Data Computer and Genicom Inc. Len believed that the traditional computer companies’ method of delivering information technology and support
services was not serving the end users needs effectively. He saw an opportunity to build a new IT company centered on his philosophy of providing high
quality services and best of breed technology solutions to meet the changing needs of organization’s business activities. LBP Enterprises, Inc. is proud
of its success measured by above average customer retention and incredible word of mouth testimonies.
Over the years LBP Enterprises, Inc. has been involved in the successful implementation of I.T. solutions covering the following areas:
- Consulting and Project Management of projects with organizations in various industry segments including discrete manufacturing, process manufacturing,
healthcare, construction, distribution and logistics, higher education and government. Notable projects include the implementation of an electronic medical
records system (RS6000 based) for a 64 physician, 11 site clinic; the migration of an IBM system 38 based ERP system to a Y2K compliant AS/400, NetWare
and Windows servers NOC for a 185 employee construction company; and the creation of an ASP based medical services organization (MSO) using IBM RS6000
technology which consolidated 12 individual medical practices.
- Multi platform, multi protocol integration (UNIX, OS/400, OS/390, Windows NT, Novell, etc.) of back office systems, Internet systems and PC servers.

Leonard (Len) Poulin - Founder and President:
Len has worked in the IT field his entire career beginning in 1978 having held various sales/marketing administration management positions at Centronics Data Computer
Corp., Applicon (a Schlumberger company) and GENICOM Corp. and served on these companies I.T. Steering. Len is an active member of the Computer Advisory Board at the
Woodrow Wilson Rehabilitation Center and he was recently involved in the project “Network, Screen, and Page: The Future of Reading in a Digital Age” funded by the
Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF) and carried out by INTERQUEST and a team of University of Virginia researchers. Len has been quoted by news organizations
on subjects relating to technology and information systems. He has been hired to conduct seminars on different aspects of the information technology industry for
Government organizations and multinational Fortune 50 companies. He is a past member of the Board of Directors for Waynesboro Country Club having served as Treasurer
for two terms, a past member of the board of trustees for the Artisan’s Center of Virginia, past President and current member of Waynesboro Downtown Development Inc.
(WDDI), President and co-founder of the Virginia Fly Fishing Festival and founder of the Computer Redistribution Team (CRT).
Mary Poulin – Administrative Services Manager:
Mary has a Master of Science in Applied Psychology with emphasis in Industrial Organizational Psychology from the University of Baltimore and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology
from Mary Baldwin College. In addition to supporting the company’s administrative functions, Mary provides consulting services for the company’s process and work flow analysis
projects. Areas of organizational concentration are motivation, satisfaction, efficiency, and customer service. Scholarly interest in human cognition resulted in published
research in Evolution and Human Behavior in May 2004. Other areas of expertise include job analysis, satisfaction surveys, training, and human relations.
Roy (Fuzzy) Chamblis – Senior Printer Technician:
Fuzzy has thirty plus years of repair experience in the printer industry following a career at The General Electric Data Communications Division, Genicom and for the past
fifteen years at LBP Enterprises, Inc. He is factory trained and certified on all types of printing technology and brands. Fuzzy is considered to be the most experienced
and versatile printer technician in the State of Virginia.
